Not quite a kite festival at the legendary Black Rock Sands, but a VW meet with a bit of kiting thrown in. Limited landbased kiting, but definitely loads of water based fun. Let's just hope there's a bit of wind eh?

Atmosphere kite festival a big success

First legal buggyjumping session at Ainsdale Beach 20th January 2008

After a four year ban on kite buggy jumping, hard work by the AOSPKC chairman and other members of the committee has resulted in Sefton Council relaxing the ban. Buggy jumpers still need to obtain a special permit by demonstrating they have the necessary skills and knowledge to progress onto learning aerial kite buggy freestyle.
