First legal buggyjumping session at Ainsdale Beach 20th January 2008

After a four year ban on kite buggy jumping, hard work by the AOSPKC chairman and other members of the committee has resulted in Sefton Council relaxing the ban. Buggy jumpers still need to obtain a special permit by demonstrating they have the necessary skills and knowledge to progress onto learning aerial kite buggy freestyle.

For more info see The Flexifoil forum and the AOSPKC home page.

Thanks to Carl-the-bullet for the videography

Hi. I'm from the Southport Visiter. Just wondering whether you have any photos of the first legal buggyjump and a bit more information about the sport for us to perhaps put in the paper.
My email address is jo.kelly@liverpool.com

Cool - I've sent you an e-mail.

Let us know if anything's going in the paper, or if you would like any more photo's throughout the year

Amazing video!
From the video seems you are attacked to the kite by the harness and then your body fixed whit the buggy, it seems dangerous by the weight of the buggy!
Would it be better to anchor the wing directly to the buggy?
Regards

Ingross
